BUNDEL

Bundle is a seating and swing design, inspired by nature. The aluminium tubes refer to random branches found in the woods. They are tied together with straps in a way Bundle offers great seating comfort. Since the entire piece is held up by the same straps, they also serve as a backrest. By adding fallen leaves, Extremis wants to point out the simplicity and genius of ‘design by nature’, as seen in nature. Only two materials, and a boyscout training can result in great design. Bundle is an unique hybrid piece of furniture between a bench, a day bed and a sofa. Originally developed as a concept for the world leader in outdoor technical textiles SUNBRELLA and after more than 1 year of development and technical improvement ,the product find his place into the Extremis collection.During this year we join forces and rethink the entire product. From the new aluminium frame, the new dimensions and even more the new double side strapes. We’re now proud to present a complete collection of product for outdoor we the same nature feeling .The aluminium tubes refer to random branches found in the woods. KUMO

Kumo, the Japanese word for cloud, is a light, tautly designed and contemporary seating island that will be previewed at the Salone del Mobile, introducing the new season’s outdoor trends. This playful and airy sofa concept comes with two modules that can be used in different outdoor and indoor settings, both privately and publicly, large or small: intimately, on a terrace or by the pool, but also in the reception area of hotels or in public buildings.

Kumo invites you to create a personalised outdoor cocoon: its concept with interchangeable covers comes in different shapes and sizes, decorative pillows and in sit and back cushions which you can choose from the extensive Manutti fabrics range. The armrests and back supports are easily adjustable and can be moved around, transforming the Kumo cloud into a plush sofa or stylish lounger, a lounge chair or cool footrest. Mixing and matching was never this easy!

2ND SKIN

BLAST FROM THE PAST

What make a chair a chair ?What distinguishes it from a stool, a sofa or a bench for that matter ?

For the 2nd skin we stripped down the notorious easy chair from all unnecessary frills, until we were left with nothing but its core, the bones. Given the deconstructed chair and keeping in mind traditional upholstering in leather, we then started playing.

The result being a comfortable chair reflecting a 21 st-century interpretation of time honored craftsmanship.
